At the moment: All eyes on the guest house! Because without the renovation and opening of this historic building, the future of the entire project is uncertain. The guest house forms the economic basis AND enables the next important step for the Kirnhalden residential and cultural project: Opening it up to the region as an event location, excursion venue and educational center! Many different building materials are needed on site. Since we want to upcycle as much as possible, we are happy to receive your leftovers or attic treasures! However, please let us have a look at the materials in advance by e-mail so that we can make sure that we have what we need!
At the moment we are looking for: sandstones and paving stones for the landscaping, wood, shrubs and bushes, antique/stylish chairs and tables for the future café.
Kirnhalden is to become an open meeting place. There is a colorful cultural program, seminar areas and event rooms for rent and the café in the historic cafeteria! Do you have an idea of how you can get involved here or would you like to connect us with artists, speakers or event organizers? Write to us and stay up to date!
